" Working together is progress, keeping together is success." It is my certainly, people working together is one of the greatest gifts of all. It is in the collaboration of working together that responsibilities are developed and the people are empowered. Collaboration is an old term yet it is more readily used today, than ever before. Collaboration not only guarantees a more favorable result than individuality, for it is in the collaboration that people are strengthened and develop insight, as well as cohesion. Working together gives a sense of oneness, as well as a sense of accountability. When people are interrelated, accountability becomes essential to the development of all.
People needing people is a form of accountability which is a term in which many people feel demonstrates a weakness. Unfortunately, the word "accountability" often donnotes punishment or negative consequences. However, when organizations use accountability only as a big stick for punishing employees, it develops fear and anxiety which permeates the work environment.
